Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) Inspections
We offer Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspections in Temple, Belton, and Killeen areas. We are licensed through the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) and trained to find evidence of present or past infestations of wood destroying insects (termites, carpenter ants, powder post beetles, etc.) as well as signs of past treatments. We also make you aware of conditions around a structure that make it conducive to wood destroying insect infestation. We offer WDI inspection services separately or in conjunction with a home inspection.
Free Wood Destroying Insect Inspection
If you were planning to purchase a home you would want to know if it showed signs of past or previous termite or other wood destroying insect infestation right? We know we would if it it was our home. That’s why we provide a WDI inspection for FREE with all of our home inspections. It’s another way to show that we care and provide more value to our clients by giving them the most information possible about their potential investments.
Why a WDI Inspection?
Lenders and mortgage companies are starting to require these before they will lend money, especially for specific types of loans such as VA loans. If signs of past or present infestations, or conditions conducive to attracting wood destroying insects are present, they may require treatment before lending money. If it isn’t required, we still believe it’s a good idea to to have one anyway.
